Traditional Illustration

Possible options include pencil sketches, ink line-art, and full watercolour line & colour illustrations. Available as a high-resolution scan(s) sent to you as digital files. The physical original can be sent to you for an extra postage fee*.

Digital Illustration

Pet Portraits & Animal Paintings

I also offer watercolour animal and pet portrait paintings. All paintings are done traditionally by hand using high grade watercolour paint and white gouache. Available as a high-resolution scan(s) sent to you as digital files. The physical original can be sent to you for an extra postage fee*.

Terms of Service

You should provide information about what you want along with any relevant reference materials when submitting your request.
Prices vary depending on the complexity of the artwork commissioned, and are subject to change based on demand.
Artwork may not be used for AI training or for NFTs. This also includes any files shared during the creation process such as sketches and thumbnails as well as the finished piece.
I have the right to reject any request that I do not feel comfortable making for any reason.

Once we have agreed on a price I will send you an invoice.
If there is a waiting list you will be notified of this before receiving the invoice. We can discuss the payment date in accordance with estimated waiting times.
The payment currency is in GBP.
Commissions should be paid 100% upfront before I start working on the request.

Upon receiving payment I will begin working on the request.
I will update you throughout the creation process. You will first receive rough thumbnail compositions. Once one is approved I will then work on a rough sketch for the final. When that is approved I will send you colour roughs and/or colour palettes for you to choose from. After you are happy with all of these stages, I will begin working on the final artwork.
When the piece is finished, I will send you a high-resolution file via email. Please specify if you would prefer jpeg or png, or both.
If you have paid for the original traditional artwork to be sent to you, I will also update you on the packing and postage of the piece.

You can ask for revisions during the thumbnail, sketch, and colour rough stages. You can ask for revisions twice in each of these stages as part of the commission cost. Any further requests for revisions will require an additional fee based on my hourly rate.
Once I begin working on the final artwork, any major adjustments will require an additional fee. What is deemed a major adjustment will be down to my judgement. For traditional pieces, most changes would require me to completely start over. This would result in wasted materials and an extension to number of hours worked.
Changing the subject of the commission will not be permitted after receiving the payment.

The artist (Daenafae) retains the right to own the copyright of the completed artwork unless the commissioner requested commercial use of the artwork for an additional fee.
The artist (Daenafae) retains the right to promote services and products with the finished artwork anywhere. For example, showing the creative process in social media videos or posting the final artwork on social media.
The commissioner is only allowed to use the artwork for personal use, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Personal use includes the following:
- uploading the art on social media or forums with credit to the artist.
- using the artwork for social media (e.g. profile picture, profile banner, etc.) and to promote themselves.
- using the artwork on their social media in monetised content, as long as the artwork itself is not the main subject of the earnings.
- printing the artwork for only personal use.

No refunds once I begin working on the commission.
If I am unable to start your commission for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel the commission before I begin working on it, you can receive a full refund.
Refunds will not be through PayPal chargeback. If you request a PayPal chargeback at any point during the commission process
